i really hope this doesnt go unoticed, as it is actually very important if you like kpop and especially if you are wlw. So a lot of you probably have never heard of Maman (Park Miyoung) and theres a pretty shitty reason behind it. During an interview a few years ago, Maman came out as lesbian but her company tried to pull it off as prank, something that didnt work out, resulting in her getting fired, and all evidence of her coming out, as well as evidence of her being under Jerry was deleted. Maman is the first openly gay idol, a lesbian idol. She is still a singer, though severely underrated despite having sung so many OSTs over the years. Her last work as of now is Obvious Story, a very gay mv and song. A lot of people think Holland is the first openly gay idol which is not true (i truly love holland btw), however I dont put blames on anyone since Maman is not known maybe at all. Please spread this if you can, and maybe watch her mv and tell your friends about it!

today I learned that there’s a town in Quebec where a bunch of people grow giant pumpkins, and on one very special day a year, cut them up, empty them, and use them as a canoe. then have a race. a pumpkin race. it’s even called ‘the potirothon’, from potiron (pumpkin) and marathon.

why-animals-do-the-thing:

I love this video because it’s one of the few ones I’ve seen where an animal is being messed with using a holiday prop and is totally okay with it. This is a super happy, relaxed cat who really does enjoy the skriches and does not appear to be bothered at all by the fact they’re coming from spoopy decorations and not living human hands. 

Bonus points because the person doing it is being really gentle and calm.
