Huh, I’m surprised by this… I’d thought of Scandinavia as being more antisemitic, I guess it’s not as bad as I thought. But Greece?? Greece, what’s going on??

2. I don’t want to take focus off the fact that this post is about antisemitism but I have a really exciting tangent/story about Scandinavia acting against white supremacy…
So the organized religious group for Norse paganism learned that their religion/symbols were being stolen and used by white supremacists, and they released a statement saying basically white supremacists can fuck right off, and then immediately held a summit to discuss how to make their religion more obviously accepting, and THEN asked their fellow pagans to contribute to a compilation of articles FILLED with examples of other races and queerness in Norse mytology and it’s really excellent. They took the danger of white supremacists really seriously and I hope all pagans follow suit.
Anyway, what’s going on with Greece is, essentially, a rise in ethnonationalist populism (possibly fomented by the debt crisis and high levels of migrant/refugees seeking asylum), which by necessity can not be inclusive of Jews, Roma, or other ethnic minorities.

I’m trying to get a wandmaking business started. I plan to make detailed, durable wands that are both beautiful and capable of being handled and played with. Currently I am only in the planning stages and would like to know if anyone would be interested!
I plan to make replicas of movie wands, generic wands (the sort you might find in Ollivander’s), and more detailed personalized wands for commissioners. I hope to be able to sell them for MUCH CHEAPER than the ridiculously priced and rather fragile Official wands.
In addition, I plan to make wand charms (little trinkets to hang from the handle of your wand) and if I get going well enough, perhaps other things too!
