Concept for a movie / TV miniseries:

A murder mystery that features six different protagonists, all hunting down the same killer for different reasons. The storylines converge near the end when their investigations start to crossover with each other. The six protagonists are:

1) Steven Yeun plays a naive, idealistic rookie detective assigned to the case.

2) Diego Luna plays a private investigator hired to find one of the killer’s victims.

3) Elizabeth Henstridge plays a journalist who stumbles upon the case on accident.

4) Gemma Chan plays someone who survived one of the killer’s attacks and is now trying to find them to get revenge.

5) Idris Elba plays a grieving father who is trying to find the killer since his daughter was one of the victims.

6) Zendaya plays an angsty, genius hacker / conspiracy theorist who believes the killer is part of a bigger conspiracy.

The six don’t meet until near the end but there are supporting characters who show up in multiple storylines to give the feeling that the six protagonists are connected in a large, tangled web. For example, a suspect that Steven Yeun’s character interrogates could also be one of Zendaya’s hacker friends. That level of connection.

And to throw the entire audience off, the killer is played by someone who rarely plays villain roles. In my head, I have Chris Hemsworth as the killer.

Even funnier thing to imagine: resurrecting Diogenes too and telling him that “Platonic” relationships means not fucking, he’d probably laugh himself back to death.

So I actually know the origin of this term because it came up when I studied Plato in my classes.  Basically, in ancient Greece it was a super common practice for teachers to fuck their students.  Like all the time.  It was considered a way for the student to “pay” the teacher.  Plato thought this was bullshit.  He felt that a student could not properly learn from someone who was truly only interested in having sex with them.  He didn’t fuck his students and derided those who did.  Other teachers who refused to fuck their students were said to have “platonic” teaching relationships with them – so named because they were following Plato’s example.  So the reason it’s called a Platonic relationship is because Plato was heavily anti-teachers-fucking-their-students and it’s one of the few things he was ever even remotely correct about.

in the current meta trans people are top-tier. S++ tier.

the devs keep trying to nerf them but they’re just fucking unstoppable.

F A C T U A L

the main reason they’re so dominant in competitive right now is mainly because of the gender debuff skill. the devs must have been insane when they programmed this because trans players can actually create their own unique class and adjust it to match their playstyle. this gives them insane adaptability unlike cisgender people, who have their class chosen entirely by RNG.

Dosent it come with a discrimination debuff though

yeah but it’s just weak intimidation attempt that has no actual DPS. if you want you can always just turn voicechat off.
