I am so moved by this thread – to me it really encompasses why #Repealthe8th was so important (also Michelle has my utmost respect for the polite, rational way she shuts down all the “so you would rather not exist?!?!?!?” folks)
You’re not “breeders” no one is forcing you to be pregnant, you got pregnant when you had sex.
Face your consequences of sex. Stop abortion. Stop murder.
Abusive relationships happen. Forced pregnancy happens. Rape happens.
This is the kind of comment that baffles the fuck out of me, because… you’ve been presented with point blank, legitimate evidence that this kind of situation happens yet you still felt you needed to take time out of your oh so busy day to call people liars.

God probably doesn’t want you to abort children conceived from rape.
God probably doesn’t want rape to happen in the 1st place. But it still happens. That doesn’t mean that pregnant people should be forced to carry out childbirth when their body and rights have already been violated against their will. You would place greater violation on these people simply because you claim to know the will of God over all others.
You are the antithesis of everything God preaches. You demand submission and compliance from individuals already suffering the worst experiences of their lives. You dare speak on God’s behalf but ignore the very real faith of those who have suffered violence. You would rather “save” those who know nothing of God over those who may have looked to God for guidance in their darkest hour and were found wanting.
